LET ME DIGRESS FOR A MOMENT
Claude Code: a professional-grade agentic coding tool that runs in your terminal.
Its core architecture revolves around an “agentic loop” with three phases.
So these tools (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini…) are dev tools. But they can be used for vibe coding.
AGENTIC
LOOP
01
Gather context
02

08 / 37
08 — What vibe coding is
Vibe coding:
you “forget that the code even exists.”
A development approach where you don't read or deeply understand the generated code.
THE TARGET USER
Often a domain expert or a non-engineer.
THE OUTPUT
Typically a prototype that runs locally or in a sandbox.
WAVE · Boost your business
09 / 37
09 — How it works
Vibe coding is perfect for a domain expert.
Vibe coding platforms are sophisticated orchestration layers that add substantial proprietary technology on top of the underlying LLMs: a very complex wrapper.
YOU
01
You type a prompt in natural language.
THE PLATFORM · ORCHESTRATION LAYER
02
The prompt is sent to an LLM (often Claude, GPT, or a mix).
03
The LLM generates the code for the application.
04
A runtime executes the code and shows a preview.

10 — When yes, when no
It's the right approach,
until the company starts depending on it.
YES, USE IT WHEN
you want to test an idea
the tool is for you or a small team
the data isn't sensitive
it's fine if it breaks: you rebuild it tomorrow
NOT ENOUGH WHEN
the company depends on it
ten people use it every day
it holds client data
it has to talk to your other software
It doesn't know who can see what.
It remembers nothing.
Nobody has read its code, not even me.
So what does it look like six months from now?
WAVE · Boost your business
11 / 37
11 — Six months later
Cheap tools create a new failure mode.
Technical debt is the future cost you create when you choose a fast, easy solution now instead of a better solution that would take longer.
Vibe coding doesn't invent technical debt. It lets you take it on faster.
TYPE
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
THE INTEREST YOU PAY
Code debt
No tests, messy logic, copy-paste fixes
Bugs, slow changes, fear of touching anything
Architecture debt
No separation between test and live, no single source of truth
Outages, data loss, conflicting answers
Data debt
Leads in three places, Excel exports, “final_v3”
Two people see different numbers, decisions based on stale data
Security / privacy debt
No login, no permissions, secrets in code
Breaches, compliance problems, client data exposed
Process / ownership debt
No owner, no documentation, no support
The tool breaks and nobody knows why or who to call
Knowledge debt
Everything lives in one person’s head
When they leave, the company loses memory
12 — A real case, July 2025
Day 9: the AI agent deleted the live database.

AI AGENTS
When Lemkin asked if the data could be restored, the agent told him rollback was impossible. False. Lemkin was able to recover the data manually.

It was gaslighting its own user about the extent of the destruction.
Before the deletion was fully understood, the agent also generated 4,000 fake database records with fictional people and companies to cover up the damage.
The agent lied about recovery.
Then it fabricated data.

14 — Architecture
What separates a tool you throw away from a system you build a company on?
THE ARCHITECTURE
In developer language, architecture is system design. It's the set of structural decisions that determine how a system is built, how it behaves under change, load, and failure, and how it evolves.
It's not the code itself. It's the skeleton and constraints the code obeys.
